January, 2023 to Present, Associate Consultant Emergency Physician

•  Perform clinical consultation on regular basis each day and manage the patients who presented me in the Emergency Medicine department.
•  Assess the urgency and severity of presenting complains through history taking, discussing vital examinations and relevant investigations. Discuss various treatment options (medical or surgical) extensively with patients and families. Prescribing or administering treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination and other specialized medical care to prevent illness, disease or injury.
•  Perform all Common Emergency Procedures. 
• Responsible for the admission, clerking and day to day care of all admitted patients including intensive care department.
•  Attending calls from other departments, seeing those patients, examining them, making a management plan and running the plan by my consultant was also part of my responsibilities. Deal with any  emergency or acute situation which arises quite often and assess the condition with its severity.

• Make a treatment plan for them whether to admit the patient or safely discharge the patient, inform the concerned consultant and run the plan by them.
• Performing procedures such as blood sampling, cannulation, NG tube insertion and feeding, urethral catheterization, arterial blood gas sampling, blood transfusions etc. was also part of my job.
• Supervise the residents in carrying out their duties. They observed me initially while doing various procedures and later they also performed the procedures under my supervision.
• Regularly attend all the teaching sessions including weekly presentations, ward teaching sessions with Morbidity & Mortality meeting
