Dr. K. K. Sharma completed his MD in Respiratory Medicine from the prestigious Institute of respiratory diseases, SMS Medical College, Jaipur. He has undergone training in Interventional Bronchoscopy at Mount Sinai Hospital, New York. He was awarded fellowship by ERS for PAH course at Lausanne, Switzerland. He has been associated with many conferences and workshops on Respiratory Medicine as speaker. As a postgraduate, he accomplished various clinical acumens in respiratory medicine. During his Senior Registrar training period and independently as a Consultant, he has acquired considerable expertise in the management of all aspects of respiratory disorders like Asthma, COPD, Interstitial Lung Disease, Lung Cancer, Sarcoidosis, Sleep disorders, TB, post TB sequelae, Bronchiectasis and all forms of Pleural disease. He is also skilled in diverse interventional pulmonary procedures specifically bronchoscopy, bronchial biopsy, chest drain insertion, pleural drainage procedures. His clinical domain involves proficiency in the management of critically ill patients with acute respiratory distress in an intensive care setting with different ventilation strategies.
