Dr. Samin K. Sharma is an internationally acclaimed interventional cardiologist with distinguished leadership roles at Mount Sinai Hospital, New York, where he serves as Director of the Cardiovascular Clinical Institute and Senior Vice President of Operations & Quality, and Director of Interventional Cardiology.
Recognized for clinical excellence, he performs over 2000 complex coronary interventions annually, with a >99% success rate and among the lowest complication rates worldwide. He is a pioneer in advanced, minimally Invasive Cardiac procedures, including TAVR and MitraClip, and is globally known as the “Master of Rotablator.” He is also credited with developing the Kissing Stent technique for complex angioplasty.
He is deeply committed to global medical education, leading internationally recognized platforms such as CCVVC and CCC Live Cases, engaging thousands of cardiologists across over 170 countries.
An alumnus of S.M.S. Medical College, Jaipur, he is also the founder of Eternal Hospital, Jaipur, a 250-bed institution dedicated to accessible, high-quality healthcare.

Work Experience
The career in the United States began with the residency in Internal Medicine at New York Infirmary – Beekman Downtown Hospital (1983-1986), Fellowship in Cardiology at Elmhurst Hospital 1986-88, and training in Interventional Cardiology at Mount Sinai Hospital to be finally appointed at the same hospital and is presently holding the post of Director of Interventional Cardiology and Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory since 1996. He is also the Co-Director of the Zena and Michael A. Weiner Cardiovascular Institute and the Marie-Josee and Henry R. Kravis Centre for Cardiovascular Health.
