 Menopause is a natural phenomenon and plays a vital role in women’s health. It is absolutely important that menopause takes place at the right time. Some Women are lucky as their menopause transition is smooth but some faces a lot of problems during the entire process of menopause.

Radiations: Frequent exposure to radiations induce menopause early. It causes hot flashes, night sweats etc. Chemotherapy affects ovarian functions, causes hormonal imbalance and infertility in some cases. 

Hormone therapy:  Some doctors recommend hormone therapy that balances estrogen and progesterone ratio. There are various forms of hormone therapy some of which include skin patches, creams that help in reducing hot flashes. 

Other treatments include gels and creams for vaginal dryness. Further, doctors recommend some lifestyle changes that help women to overcome symptoms of menopause.  Some of the lifestyle changes recommend includes:

  • Regular exercise or yoga
  • Breathing exercises
  • Having a balanced diet
  • Fruits, vegetables and protein rich diet
  • Maintain proper sleep
