Heart Care is a complex field that requires a range of preventive care, screening, advanced diagnostic tests, invasive and non-invasive procedures, postoperative management, cardiac rehabilitation, and a full range of surgical programmes.

Heart Care today has evolved into a service which is in demand everywhere, especially in India and the developing world. An ageing population and the epidemic of Coronary Artery Disease which India and surrounding countries face make cardiac surgical facilities essential. Operating on the most Central organ of the body demands the best of Human Resources, Technical Skills, Equipment and Team Effort. There are no margins for error.

Eternal Hospital has dedicated it’s services in the field of cardiac care in North India and can proudly claim the spot of the market leader in heart care. The proficiency, precision and skill of our cardiac services demonstrate our pioneering contributions in this field. Eternal Hospital will pursue its commitment to lead in the dominion of cardiac care and continue to be the most sought after destination for patients. Eternal Hospital has successfully treated thousands of heart patients and successfully performed a number of cardiac procedures and surgeries.

Cardiology is a medical specialty dealing with disorders of the heart. The field includes diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease and electrophysiology.

Interventional Cardiology pertains to a patient's evaluation which involves exposure to the patient's blood. These are generally considered advanced forms of diagnostic or therapeutic techniques. The procedures under this section are carried out in our well-equipped and high-tech Cardiac Catheterization laboratories.

  • Coronary Angiography (CAG)
  • Coronary Angioplasty
  • ROTA Ablations
  • Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump

EP & Heart Failure

  • EP Study
  • Radio Frequency Ablation
  • 3D Mapping
  • Pacemaker Implantation - Leadless / Single / Double-
  • ICD, CRT, CRT-D Implantation

Endovascular Diseases

  • Renal Angiography & Angioplasty
  • Carotid Angiography & Angioplasty
  • Peripheral Angiography & Angioplasty
  • Thoracic & Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms
  • IVC Filter Implantation

Structural & Valvular Heart Disease

  • Device Closures ASD, VSD, PDA
  • Right Heart Catheterization
  • Paediatric Catheterization / Angiography (Right & Left)

  • Repair of mitral, aortic, tricuspid and pulmonary valves (valvuloplasty) using balloons.
  • Closure of birth defects in the heart in cases of Atrial Septal defect or Patent Ductus Arteriosus.
  • Single and Dual Chamber Pacemaker, Implantable cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) implantation
  • Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy (CRT) including CRT-P and CRT-D Physiological pacing.
  • AV node Junction (AVJ) Ablation with Biventricular Pacing.
  • 2D Electrophysiology study (EPS) and Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) for Supraventricular Arrhythmia (SVT).
  • 3D EPS/RFA for typical and atypical Atrial flutter (AFl) ablation.
  • 3D EPS/FRA for Atrial fibrillation (AF) – Pulmonary Valve Isolation, Wide Area Circumferential Ablation (WACA).
  • 3D EPS/ RFA for idiopathic Ventricular Tachycardia (VT)
  • 3D EPS /RFA for Scar VT-Substrate Modification.

  • Management of Granulomatous Cardiomyopathy – Cardiac Tuberculosis and Sarcoid.

The pediatric (also known as paediatric) cardiac program Eternal Hospital seeks to provide comprehensive and state-of-the-art services for children suffering from any type of heart ailment. These services are made available to one and all at affordable costs. The possible pointers to heart diseases in infants (less than one year of age) include:

  • Breathing difficulty
  • Blueness of lips, fingers and toes
  • Poor growth
  • Frequent episodes of chest infection

What tests will a child have to undergo?

Your child will have a complete physical examination including height, weight, and blood pressure readings, an electrocardiogram (recording of the heart rhythm) and if indicated, an echocardiogram (sonogram of the heart), followed by a consultation with the pediatric cardiologist. Additional testing may include a 24 hour recording of the heart rhythm, recording the heart rhythm while facing the above mentioned symptoms and an exercise stress test (monitoring the heart rate and rhythm during exercise on a treadmill).

Non Invasive Cardiology pertains to cardiovascular evaluation without getting exposure to the patient's blood. It involves tests which are generally considered the basic and essential first steps towards a cardiac evaluation.

  • Transthoracic Echocardiography with color Doppler - 2D, 3D
  • Transesophageal ECHO - 2D, 3D
  • Saline Contrast ECHO
  • Stress ECHO - Dobutamine Exercise
  • Pediatric Congenital ECHO
  • Electrocardiogram (ECG)
  • Holter Monitoring
  • Computerized Tread Mill Test (TMT)
  • Head Up Tilt Test (HUTT)
  • Ambulatory BP Monitoring
  • CPET (Cardio Pulmonory Exercise Testing) VO2 Max
  • Angiography
  • Angioplasty
